CYMBIDIUM ALLIANCE AND ITS HYBRIDS
Origin - Plants originating from the Asian and Australian continent in climates as diverse as the cold and high Himalayas, the tropical and rainy Thai forests or the Australian deserts.
Luminosity - They like a lot of light but with a shadow, without strong direct sun.
Temperature and Humidity - In our country they can be all year abroad, in a place sheltered from frost and protected from rain. The ideal temperatures vary between 13o and 28oC, but can survive at both lower and higher temperatures.
At the end of summer they should be placed in a colder place to stimulate flowering. If grown in heated and dark houses, they usually do not give flowers.
Pots and substrate - The ideal will be plastic or clay vases. They like to be tight in the vases and should not be planted in much larger vessels than the plant. The ideal substrate is the Terra Orquídeas Terrestres.
Watering and Fertilization - The waterings should be weekly and the fifteenth fertilization using the doses advised in the fertilizer bottle or we can use half the dose and always put fertilizer on all the waterings. After flowering we grow Nutri Orquídeas Humic Crescimento and barely appear the floral stem until it is cut we change to Nutri Orquídeas Humic Floração.
We must apply the biostimulant all year Vital Orquídeas Activ fortnightly, it can be applied in the same watering that the fertilizers (respecting the doses of both to 1 liter of water) or separately (alternate 1 week add another fortifying).
