Do you have a Lucky Bamboo, or several.... are you curious about your origins and traditions?
Want to take good care of him and learn more about these curious plants/myths?
See some “more frequent questions (Faqs)” with curiosity.

Is it bad to throw away or let the Bamboo die of luck?

No, it is a tradition to offer the Bamboo of luck (in sets or loose pipes) whenever someone home, ends a course, changes employment, at times when one wants to wish good luck, this does not mean that if the plant dies or is replaced we will have bad luck.

This Eastern tradition is based on the beauty and simplicity of Bamboo and not another type of superstition.

Bamboo (which in fact is a dracaena) is a rooted stake and, as such has a limited longevity yet quite large, but aesthetically can deteriorate and should then be replaced.

Can I place Lucky Bamboo with other cut flowers?

One can perfectly make arrangements of Bamboo of luck with cut flowers.

Can I have stones at the bottom of the lucky Bamboo jug?

We can use stones, sands or even colored gel for plants at the bottom of the lucky Bamboo.

Do I have to duce and expose my lucky Bamboo to the sun?

No, the Lucky Bamboo are very resistant and not very demanding at a horticultural level, to live well just replace them with water weekly.

As for the light, they are good in low-lighted areas, and we should not grow because they start to grow too much.
